Biography

In the far-northern wastes lives Amazona, the Mighty Woman of unsurpassed strength and beauty. She and her kin are the last remnants of a super-race that perished during the final ice age. When an explorer named Blake Manners survives an ill-fated expedition and reaches their hidden citadel, Amazona becomes captivated by him and accompanies him back to America.

There, she frees Blake’s ship from the ice, attends a society party interrupted by gangsters, and single-handedly thwarts the criminals, saving the guests from a fiery explosion. Though she appeared only once, Blake later investigated another case with her aid in the following issue.
